Afghan Adventure: The Gold of Ahmad Shah

The final ZDF edit (German speaking territories) of our treasure hunt documentary in Afghanistan with Tahir Shah is now ready. We are very excited to see it next week. All the editing and post production has taken place in Germany at Story House Productions, Berlin.
- Hard Talk between presenter Tahir Shah and director David Flamholc
- Sometimes the film team had a hard time keeping up pace with Tahir.
- The Throne of Rustam is an ancient Buddhist Shrine/Stupa
- Tracing our route between Kabul and Mazar-i-Sharif
In the meantime our “Behind the Scenes” Feature Doc, by recent rough-cut inspiration temporarily called “Afghanistan: Near to the Truth” is doing great progress. The rough-cut now clocks in under 2 hours and shrinking. We’re aiming for 105 mins, but there is still a lot of story work to be done. Although the truth should be the easiest story to tell, it seems that there are so many truths here that they sometimes conflict.
more soon.
